 Meterorological (weather) data is collected at the VCR/LTER at three stations: Hog Island, Oyster, VA and Phillips Creek Marsh. Two of the stations (HogI, Oyst) provide near-real time data via an Internet connection.
Data collected include: precipitation, temperature, wind speed and direction, vapor pressure, solar radiation, and photosynthetically-active radiation (PAR). There is also a NOAA Climate Reference Network (CRN) station located immediately adjacent to the VCR/LTER Oyster Met. station. |
