ARC	NSF Office of Polar Programs Arctic Systems Science Program (ARCSS) LTER provides data for models, ARCSS projects provide additional data for Modeling NSF ARCSS Data Coordination Center at the National Ice and Snow Data Center, Boulder. We provide data and data base link. They serve as an archive. Toolik Field Station of the University of Alaska North Slope Borough This is the Native Corporation based at Barrow, Alaska. They provide permits, we provide information and briefings (e.g., August 1997 in Barrow) on results of our research and projections into future. Bureau of Land Management we provide info and briefings, they provide permits Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game we provide info and briefings, they provide fish permits Bonanza Creek LTER project we are planning a joint ecological transect within Alaska -- over next 10 years NSF Office of Polar Programs Arctic Natural Sciences Program They provide funding for an aquatic project that is closely tied to our LTER grant in goals, personnel, and procedures. In fact, this is the grant that allows our LTER to function as it does
BLM	The Baltimore-Washington Regional Collaboratory (BWRC) Based at The University of Maryland, Baltimore County, the BWRC is an experiment in sharing spatial data with emphasis on natural resource management. The goal of the project is to isolate the bridges and barriers to sharing data at federal, state, local, and neighborhood scales and among the private sector. The BWRC maintains working relationships and MOUs with approximately 40 federal, state, local, and non-government partners. Tim Foresman is the director of the BWRC. Revitalizing Baltimore A community forestry initiative funded by the USDA Forest Service. NASA - Regional Applications Center (formerly Regional Data Center and Regional Validation center). Centered around an Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer antenna. Also housed at UMBC and headed by Tim Foresman, Howard Motler, and Yelena Yesha. MCM	UNAVCO Polar Programs - Antarctica (University NAVSTAR Consortium) Provides GPS (Global Positioning System) surveying equipment and technical support. Antarctic Support Associates Under contract to support to the United States Antarctic program. For McMurdo LTER, ASA performs some lab analyses of samples gathered from the field, and provides a field camp organizer for Taylor Valley. International Center for Antarctic Information and Research (ICAIR) Production of an accurate base map and Geographical Information System (GIS) of the McMurdo Dry Valley region. Work at ICAIR has focused on two GIS elements 1) ensuring that a new datum network is established for the dry valleys and 2) digitization of the relevant USGS 1:50K sheets from the mylar originals for every layer of data for the series U.S. Geological Survey Maintains and distributes information pertaining to the rivers and streams of the Taylor Valley, Antarctica. Collect stream data in field (discharge rate, conductivity etc), process raw values so they are ready to present on the web. Individual researchers which include the following: 1. Gayle L. Dana, Desert Research Institute, Reno, Nevada: deals with atmospheric radiation In Taylor Valley. 2. Ian Hawes, National Institute of Water & Atmospheric Research, Christchurch, New Zealand - biological processes in Taylor Valley streams and lakes. 3. Johanna Laybourn-Parry, University of Nottingham, England – microbial plankton in Taylor Valley lakes. 4. David Marchant, Boston University - paleoclimate.

NTL	USGS/WEBB project in NTL study area NTL provides a data context; NTL consulted with WEBB data manager on the WEBB information system design; WEBB data on streams augments the NTL data at study site. Dorset Reasearch Center and Experimental Lakes Area (Canada) Lake Ice Analysis Group (LIAG) This is an international group of researchers interested in ice phenology. NTL data management constructed the database for this group. Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Collaboration, data sharing, some interactions among data managers Several different academic institutions have used the NTL database and data management expertise.
