Questions for the Biodiversity Database
At the 11/19/96 meeting of the biodiversity group, we brainstormed on the
questions our database must be able to answer. The questions were:
- Where can I find a given species?
- What are the (dominant) species
- in a region?
- at a location?
- How many species are found
- at a location?
- in a region?
- Does a species reproduce at a given location?
- When can I find the species?
- Biotic interactions
- What eats this species?
- What does this species eat?
- Who are the compeitors of this species?
- What does this species look like?
- How good is the information?
- Who saw it?
- Are there specimens?
- Was the information published and if so, where?
