Seagrass


Karen McGlathery is an Associate Professor at the Coastal and Marine Ecology Lab, Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Virginia. Her research interests include: Aquatic ecology, biogeochemical controls on estuarine nutrient dynamics, ecophysiology of algae and seagrasses, marine conservation and management.


Art Schwarzschild is a research assistant professor and site director of the Anheuser-Busch Coastal Research Center. He is also the site manager of the Virginia Coast Reserve Long-Term Ecological Research Program.


Interview with graduate student Laura Reynolds of the University of Virginia. Laura was a member of the 2008 COSEE-Coastal Trends Scientist Educator Team that studied seagrass.
