Urls can be created for the following files:
myrica.htm, nashii.htm, phragmites.htm, sclerp.htm, sheepshe.htm,
sealav.htm, and bchhmf.html.
The url address is : http://www.vcrlter.virginia.edu/biod/images/
All of the images in this directory can be viewed inside the database at
the "view images" prompt.
There are a number of species for which a htm or html file was created but
there is no jpg file. Both are needed to establish a link.
URLs have already been created for the horseshoe crab and rough green
snake.
I didn't transfer any files for which the species was not identified. For
example, seagull and red grasshopper were not transferred. These need to
be identified.
For all of you who created image files, nice job!
On a separate note, when entering the species and genus names in the basic
info section do not italicize them. The database will do it
automatically. You still must italicize genus and species in the rest of
the database field (phys. description, natural history, etc.).
