Biodiversity folks,
I've added organism type to the menu system. If you want you can
use it add organism types for the organisms you've already added. If
you have put in a lot of organisms already and they were all of the
same type, send me your name and email address along with the type of
organism you were working on and I will do a "mass change" operation
on this end.
There was also a few questions about the spreadsheet. Here are the
questions and my reply:

Each line in the spreadsheet stands alone, so you need to fill all the
relevant columns for species, location and observation. You can use
"copy and paste" operations to duplicate material that is repeated
across lines, but each line should be complete in itself.

Absolutely! Just make sure the spelling on the species and genus are
correct! If the species is already in the database and has information
on Order, Family etc. you can leave those columns blank in your
spreadsheet, since information already entered will have "priority"
over new information. However, "new" species should have all the
columns filled that you can....
Thanks for all your efforts!
